The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Möllgren took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Torstensson. Harry Torstensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th minute, Sakarias Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calle Lindberg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Stig Henriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Torstensson. Blaugrana IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Henriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Henriksson in the 14th minute of play forced Blaugrana IF's goalkeeper Harry Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sixten Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blaugrana IF's Harry Torstensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Möllgren in the 26th minute of play. Harry Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Kihlman in the 27th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sixten Nilsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gottfrid Vennersten. That made the score 1-2 in the 31 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Blaugrana IF's Sixten Nilsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gottfrid Vennersten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dijon Emre FC's Gottfrid Vennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Nilsson in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Blaugrana IF defense, Gösta Kihlman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harry Torstensson. The Blaugrana IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harry Torstensson should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Gösta Kihlman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dijon Emre FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Kihlman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Torstensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Möllgren made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Harry Torstensson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Constantino Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gottfrid Vennersten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Dijon Emre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Nilsson came free, but Gottfrid Vennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Torstensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Torstensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Kihlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Sixten Nilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dijon Emre FC's Gottfrid Vennersten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. John Ugla hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Blaugrana IF's Harry Torstensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Henriksson in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match, Gösta Kihlman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Harry Torstensson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Kihlman in the 87th minute of play forced Blaugrana IF's goalkeeper Harry Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Robert Möllgren notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Blaugrana IF's Harry Torstensson. Harry Torstensson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Harry Torstensson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gösta Kihlman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play. The Blaugrana IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dijon Emre FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
