The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3rd play minutes Stefan Karlsson shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sven Ahlrot and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Skålberg in the 8th minute of play forced Atrium FC's goalkeeper Per Stor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Sixten Isaksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atrium FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haga Hooligans the free kick. A collision led to Atrium FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Per Stor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The Atrium FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Atrium FC's Stefan Karlsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Atrium FC's Per Stor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Atrium FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Karlsson in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Ahlrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stefan Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Ahlrot having to interfere. Tommy Skålberg's late challenge caught a Atrium FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Skålberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Haga Hooligans's Tommy Skålberg got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Tommy Skålberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 83rd playminute. If Stefan Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Samuel Ahlroth fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atrium FC's protests and gave Samuel Ahlroth a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Atrium FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Samuel Ahlroth hit a great ball. The Atrium FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
