The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmund Kinnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Björkqvist having to interfere. Joel Nyberg's late challenge caught a Södra Vi BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Nyberg helped the player get up and apologised. Melker Skräddare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Svanberg in the 10th minute of the match. Södra Vi BF's Melker Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Petersson in the 11th minute of play. Sakarias Lind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Björkqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Södra Vi BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Jakobsson to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sakarias Lind was the one to do the kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Södra Vi BF's goalkeeper Melker Skräddare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Malmberg. 68 minutes into the match, Nusnäs's goal looked a bit too open when Sakarias Lind came free, but Tobias Björkqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nusnäs booed when Södra Vi BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melker Skräddare was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Esbjörn Holm. Nusnäs's Joel Nyberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Joel Nyberg off the ground. A collision led to Nusnäs getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Joel Nyberg hit a great ball. In the 87th minute of the match Tommy Jakobsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Björkqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
