Marko Esposito's shot from long distance in the 8th minute was not bad at all, but Mjöbäck's Sven-Oskar Lindmark knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Sven-Oskar Lindmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Ekegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Stig-Arne Boström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Råneå's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Arne Boström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Nils-Emil Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sven-Oskar Lindmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Ekegren in the 31st minute of play. Nils-Emil Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillipe Lafont having to interfere. Nils-Emil Jonsson succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Nils-Emil Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Björn Mårtensson put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Phillipe Lafont. In the 47th minute Nils-Emil Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillipe Lafont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Mjöbäck were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Nils-Emil Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mjöbäck's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Emil Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillipe Lafont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elliot Ahlström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Råneå's Alexander Nyström tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thomas Hellqvist hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Björn Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillipe Lafont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Emil Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Phillipe Lafont didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mjöbäck. Phillipe Lafont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Mårtensson in the 73rd minute of the match. Nils-Emil Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillipe Lafont having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Råneå got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Nyström. It was beautiful to see Mjöbäck's Joakim Ödmann in action when he in the 80th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In a very dangerous position, a player in Råneå fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Mjöbäck's Nils-Emil Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Björn Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillipe Lafont having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Råneå's goalkeeper Phillipe Lafont had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Emil Jonsson. Mjöbäck's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
