Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edmund Beckeman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. IFK Idehult's Edmund Beckeman got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes IFK Idehult got a freekick which was hit by Göran Åström. In the 24th match minute, IFK Idehult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Åström to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Charles Björkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gith's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Björkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerry Nyberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Kalle Hallgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerry Nyberg, 1-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Charles Björkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gith's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Björkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Kalle Hallgren made a precise shot to the right of Jerry Nyberg. IFK Idehult's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. IFK Idehult's attentive Klas Fastesson managed to snatch the ball when Isac Axelsson made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Christer Söder hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gith's goalkeeper Allan Jonsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmund Beckeman took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Jonsson. Allan Jonsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Björkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmund Beckeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Jonsson having to interfere. If Klas Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Söder's late challenge caught a IFK Idehult's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Söder helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Gith getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Christer Söder hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Göran Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Gith's Albert Bäckman took a good shot, in the 68th minute, which hit the crossbar above Jerry Nyberg's head, and flew over the goal. IFK Idehult's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by FC Gith. Allan Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Fastesson in the 72nd minute of play. Håkan Glad charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Glad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, FC Gith was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Glad to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes in the game Bengt Malmberg got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. If Charles Björkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Charles Björkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Nyberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Klas Fastesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Gith's Allan Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Fastesson in the 95th minute of play. Henrik Bäckman hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Many of IFK Idehult's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. IFK Idehult may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Gith were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
