In a very dangerous position, a player in Platt Foot Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Ture Åkerström had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Froilan Inge's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Kjell Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockholm United's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Åkerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Ture Åkerström managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Stockholm United's Maximilian Frisk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th match minute, Platt Foot Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Bjurström to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Froilan Inge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ture Åkerström skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute, Maximilian Frisk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stockholm United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 29th minute, Leif Bjurström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romildo Cardoso having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the match Froilan Inge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ture Åkerström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kjell Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ture Åkerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Fransson in the 44th minute of play. If Kjell Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximilian Frisk was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Maximilian Frisk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ture Åkerström was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Platt Foot Boys's Johannes Sundén got a free kick in the 59th minute. When the match had been going on for 60 minutes Simon Näver shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Ture Åkerström when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Ture Åkerström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximilian Frisk's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Maximilian Frisk sped through Platt Foot Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ture Åkerström. Romildo Cardoso made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Gustaf Frisck sent off a good shot on target. Platt Foot Boys were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Stockholm United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johannes Sundén took the corner. Kjell Fransson struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ture Åkerström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockholm United. Ture Åkerström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximilian Frisk's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Anders Ivarsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ture Åkerström skillfully saved the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Platt Foot Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Fransson came free, but Ture Åkerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ture Åkerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stockholm United had played much better football throughout.
