The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Ferm got free with Hampus Drake in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute Simon Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Hellsing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Linneryd FF's Hampus Drake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 徐鹰冰 in the 54th minute of play. Jörgen Lööf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Drake having to interfere. A collision led to Linneryd FF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nils-Emil Njurenius hit a great ball. Hampus Drake didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Ferm went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Granqvist came free, but Torbjörn Hellsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Modig in the 68th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Torbjörn Hellsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Linneryd FF booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Lööf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torbjörn Hellsing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josef Lövkvist in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Linneryd FF's goal looked a bit too open when Per Ferm came free, but Hampus Drake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Linneryd FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Njurenius to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Flavius Panduru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Per Ferm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hampus Drake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 79th minute, Jörgen Lööf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Lööf in the 82nd minute of play forced Linneryd FF's goalkeeper Hampus Drake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hampus Drake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 徐鹰冰, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Bernt Granqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torbjörn Hellsing. Bernt Granqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. 95 minutes into the match, Linneryd FF's goal looked a bit too open when 徐鹰冰 came free, but Hampus Drake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
