Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sven-Oskar Lund started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Oscar Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, NEWMAN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Smefeldt to maneuver through the defense. Leif Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Benet made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Sebastian Valler sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Leif Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sven-Oskar Lund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Benet was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulrik Rolfsson to make the kick off. Leif Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Knut Henriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Oskar Lund in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Benet saved Bayern München from getting behind. When Brian Rudqvist fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. With an all-out effort, Bayern München's Knut Henriksson threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anthon Edström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Knut Henriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leif Albäck in the 83rd minute. If Sven-Oskar Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knut Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Rolfsson in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Leif Albäck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Knut Henriksson. That made the score 1-1 in the 95 minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
