In the 6th minute, Josef Hellström made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Örtendahl. Gånghester IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fredrik Örtendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Melberg in the 10th minute of play. Gånghester IF's Fredrik Örtendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Hellström in the 11th minute of play. Gösta Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henrik Hermanssons short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Christoffer Wallengren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. John Backlund hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andy Wall during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Andy Wall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Tor Klack shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredrik Örtendahl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fredrik Örtendahl came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fagerås's Josef Hellström. But to his dismay, Josef Hellström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gånghester IF's Fredrik Örtendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Melberg in the 29th minute of play. When Einar Melberg fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fagerås's protests and gave Einar Melberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fagerås's Einar Melberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. Fredrik Örtendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Lundkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 41st minute, Alexander Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Tor Klack shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredrik Örtendahl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fredrik Örtendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Nordkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gösta Lundkvist was the one to do the kick off. Fagerås's Gösta Lundkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christoffer Wallengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Hermansson's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Henrik Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Christoffer Wallengren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gånghester IF. Fredrik Örtendahl made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Einar Melberg sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Fagerås's zone, Klas Viklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Wallengren came out of the goal and Klas Viklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute Gösta Lundkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Örtendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gånghester IF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Alexander Axelsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Gånghester IF defense, Einar Melberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredrik Örtendahl. The Gånghester IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredrik Örtendahl should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Lundkvist in the 79th minute of play forced Gånghester IF's goalkeeper Fredrik Örtendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oscar Svartengren fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fagerås's protests and gave Oscar Svartengren a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Svartengren hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Christoffer Wallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Lundkvist in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredrik Örtendahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Nordkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fredrik Örtendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Gånghester IF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Nordkvist came free, but Fredrik Örtendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute of the match Tor Klack sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredrik Örtendahl skillfully saved the ball. Josef Hellström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Fredrik Örtendahl made a huge save. The Fagerås players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
