Jens Sjögren spun around in front of the goal 5 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Halmstad BK's goal. Gert Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Kullander in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Kristian Bank got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Per Söders short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Rickard Wallin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kristian Bank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kristian Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Wallin having to interfere. A collision led to Halmstad BK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Algot Jernberg hit a great ball. Halmstad BK's Gert Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Kullander in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute Sten Harlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Kristian Bank's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rickard Wallin was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Generalz FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kristian Bank 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristian Bank to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Joachim Kullander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Generalz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Kullander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gert Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Generalz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per Söder came free, but Rickard Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halmstad BK were furious when Knut Morat was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 58 minutes into the game, one of Halmstad BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Generalz FC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karl-Axel Bäckman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Halmstad BK's Gert Andersson. 2-1. When Halmstad BK's Kristian Bank in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Per Söder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Wallin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Rickard Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Bank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Generalz FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eric Billberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Halmstad BK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Eric Billberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rickard Wallin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rickard Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Bank, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute, Halmstad BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Lindström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kristian Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Wallin having to interfere. The supporters of Generalz FC booed when Halmstad BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Kullander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halmstad BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
