In the 8th minute Matthias Haström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Kaxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthias Haström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The attack was good, but when Björn Rang in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 15th play minute Björn Rang came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karl Kaxe. 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Matthias Haström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geralt Salah in the 24th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Geralt Salah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ФK Партизан Београд's David Pilberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ФK Партизан Београд's zone, Alessio Di Giacomo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Pilberg came out of the goal and Alessio Di Giacomo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ФK Партизан Београд players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chelsea FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Geralt Salah made the kick off in the second half. Alessio Di Giacomo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, ФK Партизан Београд was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Haström to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Chelsea FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ФK Партизан Београд.
