The crowd rose to their feet as Ragnar Tingberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Linus Ek. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Stig Granström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bo-Erik Stensson. Strömsnäsbruk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Alexander Palmquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo-Erik Stensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Palmquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17thth minute of the game Vilgot Linberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsnäsbruk's Bo-Erik Stensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joachim Ekeroth kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Strömsnäsbruk's Jens-Ove Fastesson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Pettersson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Adrian Åkerman, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ragnar Tingberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ragnar Tingberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 41st minute of the match Strömsnäsbruk got a corner. Mockfjärd FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Åkerman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adrian Åkerman made a great header on Strömsnäsbruk's corner, it was just that Mockfjärd FK's Linus Ek managed to reach the ball for a save. 43 minutes into the game, Vilgot Linberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bo-Erik Stensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexander Palmquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bo-Erik Stensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Vilgot Linberg made the kick off in the second half. If Alexander Palmquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linus Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Tingberg in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Henry Wik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mockfjärd FK booed when Strömsnäsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Lars Mellbad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd play minute Alexander Palmquist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bo-Erik Stensson. 1-2. When Joachim Ekeroth was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. A collision led to Strömsnäsbruk getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Joachim Ekeroth hit a great ball. When Lars Fransson fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strömsnäsbruk's protests and gave Lars Fransson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Strömsnäsbruk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Bo-Erik Stensson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vilgot Linberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Vilgot Linberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bo-Erik Stensson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strömsnäsbruk's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Stensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mockfjärd FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
