The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Hedbom during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Åtvidaberg booed when Ursviken IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Hedbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksander Sundén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Holm having to interfere. Aleksander Sundén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Kalle Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrik Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Sundén in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kalle Holm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Åtvidaberg's Olof Blomqvist got control of the ball when Staffan Olsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aleksander Sundén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Åtvidaberg's Sven-Erik Bergqvist got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Lars Lidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staffan Olsson struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Olof Blomqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ursviken IK. With a little luck, Åtvidaberg's Olof Blomqvist got control of the ball when Staffan Olsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Erik Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Holm having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lars Lidman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ursviken IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Lidman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olof Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Lidman in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olof Blomqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olof Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Olsson in the 71st minute of the match. Mikael Jakobsson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Mikael Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Holm having to interfere. Ursviken IK's Kalle Holm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Ursviken IK from getting a goal against them. Kevin Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Mikael Jakobsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åtvidaberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ursviken IK the free kick. Åtvidaberg's Olof Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Olsson in the 84th minute of play. Kalle Holm came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Åtvidaberg's Henrik Abrahamsson. But to his dismay, Henrik Abrahamsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ursviken IK's Kalle Holm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Ursviken IK from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Åtvidaberg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ursviken IK.
