Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vilhelm Karlsson started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Västerljung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Ahlberg to maneuver through the defense. If Vilhelm Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Västerljung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Ahlberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Västerljung's zone, Edwin Olsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Wenerdahl came out of the goal and Edwin Olsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathias Helberg charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Helberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Söderköping booed when Västerljung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Helberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Kihlman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ture Åhlberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. David Almstedt missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 31 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Freddie Wenerdahl right hand side. Västerljung's Freddie Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Olsson in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Joacim Wikander made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joacim Wikander in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Lövgren saved Söderköping from getting behind. Alexander Pihl kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Filip Lövgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Wikander, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elof Ahlberg during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Västerljung's Elof Ahlberg got a free kick in the 64th minute. Vilhelm Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Freddie Wenerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joacim Wikander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Lövgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Elof Ahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Lövgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tony Kihlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Filip Lövgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Tony Kihlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Tony Kihlman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västerljung's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Kihlman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Lövgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony Kihlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
