In the 3rd minute, Tommy Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Upphärad's Bo Kjellkvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sköldinge IF were furious when Elliot Sävström was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Sköldinge IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Upphärad:s goal. Bo Kjellkvist shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Karl Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Upphärad's goalkeeper Jonathan Vallman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalle Nyqvist. After having played for 16 minutes, Karl Malmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Upphärad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Malmberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Sköldinge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Andersson to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Karl Malmberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sköldinge IF's Marko Galle. Marko Galle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl Malmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Marko Galle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Malmberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marko Galle having to make a save. Karl Malmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marko Galle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Jan-Erik Wickander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marko Galle. Sköldinge IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Erik Wickander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Sköldinge IF booed when Upphärad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Bo Kjellkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Upphärad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sköldinge IF the free kick. Jonathan Vallman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Bremming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan-Erik Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sköldinge IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Upphärad were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kalle Nyqvist made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Malmberg got free with Marko Galle in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute Kalle Nyqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Vallman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sköldinge IF's Marko Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Wickander in the 63rd minute of play. Jan-Erik Wickander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalle Nyqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Malmberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Marko Galle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Kalle Nyqvist came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sköldinge IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalle Nyqvist couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Malmberg got free with Marko Galle in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Wickander in the 92nd minute of play forced Sköldinge IF's goalkeeper Marko Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kalle Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Upphärad left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sköldinge IF.
