Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hallabro's Samuel Hedin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Samuel Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Ahlstedt in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Karl-Axel Vennersten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Rune Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Vesterberg scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urban Josefsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Hallabro getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edvard Ek hit a great ball. Fårbo IF's Karl-Axel Vennersten got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rune Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Ahlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Ahlroht having to interfere. Olle Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olle Carlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olle Carlsson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Karl-Axel Vennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Ahlroht having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rune Ahlstedt was the one to do the kick off. Rune Ahlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Ahlroht having to interfere. When Karl-Axel Vennersten came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Fårbo IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Axel Vennersten couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Hallabro booed when Fårbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joacim Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Samuel Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hallabro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Hedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hallabro's zone, Karl-Axel Vennersten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Ahlroht came out of the goal and Karl-Axel Vennersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sixten Rudkvist fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fårbo IF's protests and gave Sixten Rudkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Fårbo IF's Rune Ahlstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Fårbo IF booed when Hallabro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Fårbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Esbjörn Söderqvist. The crowd rose to their feet as Rune Ahlstedt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jakob Ahlroht. That made the score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. When the match was over Fårbo IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hallabro throughout the match.
