After 3 played minutes Slöinge got a freekick which was hit by Klas Norberg. In the 10th minute, Elias Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt Bogren kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Conny Widberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrik Sundberg skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Häll got free with Philip Mickelsson in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Sakarias Mellbad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slöinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Sakarias Mellbad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulf Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Philip Mickelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ulf Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jim Glad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Sundberg was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Osvald Örtendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Mickelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
Skövde's Patrik Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Mellbad in the 55th minute of play. Jim Glad struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Patrik Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slöinge. Skövde's Patrik Sundberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde from getting a goal against them. Ulf Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Philip Mickelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Sundberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sakarias Mellbad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 74 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvald Örtendahl in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Mickelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Osvald Örtendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sakarias Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Sundberg having to interfere. Jim Glad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Skövde's Patrik Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Mellbad in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Mellbad in the 91st minute of play forced Skövde's goalkeeper Patrik Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Slöinge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
