The Skövde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Max Nord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Häll in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Köpmannebro IF booed when Skövde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Agne Benet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrik Sundberg skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Köpmannebro IF's Evert Grönlund got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Boris Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Köpmannebro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Löfgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvald Örtendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Max Nord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Lundblad during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Köpmannebro IF got a freekick which was hit by Fred Lundblad. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ulf Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skövde's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Häll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Nord breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulf Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Nord having to interfere. Max Nord took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Åke Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Köpmannebro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Örtendahl came free, but Max Nord reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Köpmannebro IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skövde were winning 0-1.

After 51 minutes of play, Skövde's Ulf Häll made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Nord was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulf Häll who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Max Nord when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Max Nord stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvald Örtendahl's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Evert Grönlund took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Sundberg. Patrik Sundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Kurt Söderkvist hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Per-Oskar Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Skövde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Oskar Magnusson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Skövde booed when Köpmannebro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Hök didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes Köpmannebro IF got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Melander. Osvald Örtendahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Ulf Häll notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Köpmannebro IF's Max Nord. Max Nord was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boris Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Patrik Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Köpmannebro IF. Skövde's Patrik Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Grönlund in the 86th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Osvald Örtendahl lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Max Nord. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Skövde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
