Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when George Frisck got the match started through his kick off. In the 10thth minute of the game Tomas Nyman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drottningholm FK's Ivan Hjortberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Sjöö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilgot Jönsätt hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Burträsk FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Thomas Lind hit a great ball. Burträsk FK's Eric Sjöö got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes of play, Burträsk FK's Tomas Nyman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Hjortberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Drottningholm FK's George Frisck in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burträsk FK's goalie prevented a goal. Drottningholm FK's Ivan Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Sjöö in the 36th minute of play. When Karl-Michael Brolin came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Drottningholm FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Brolin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Drottningholm FK booed when Burträsk FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt Abelsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Billy Wennerqvist. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eric Sjöö to strike the kick off in the second half. When Eric Sjöö came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Burträsk FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Sjöö couldn't finish the play. George Frisck took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt Abelsson. Bengt Abelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tomas Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ivan Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Abelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brolin in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Drottningholm FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Bivall to maneuver through the defense. The nice shot from Tomas Nyman in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ivan Hjortberg had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ivan Hjortberg made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Eric Sjöö sent off a good shot on target. Eric Sjöö struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ivan Hjortberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burträsk FK. If Tomas Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Burträsk FK's Sonny Beneth got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the match was over Burträsk FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Drottningholm FK throughout the match.
