Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frans Bergman got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Hedling in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Klack saved Järnforsen IFK from getting behind. Fredrik Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malungsfors's Sune Skarkman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Malungsfors from getting a goal against them. Frans Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sune Skarkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olle Klack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Västerberg in the 18th minute of the match. Malungsfors's Fred Västerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred Västerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Frans Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Roger Hedling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malungsfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Hedling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olle Klack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Järnforsen IFK defense, Roger Hedling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olle Klack. The Järnforsen IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olle Klack should have stopped the shot. When Roger Hedling came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Malungsfors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Hedling couldn't finish the play. If Frans Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Roger Hedling made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Malungsfors's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Bergman came free, but Sune Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Järnforsen IFK's Fredrik Linqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sune Skarkman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 58th minute, Alvin Björnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Frans Bergman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malungsfors's Sune Skarkman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Frans Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Järnforsen IFK's goalkeeper Olle Klack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Västerberg. In the 83rd minute, Jarl Erserman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malungsfors's Fred Västerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Roger Hedling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Käller kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Västerberg got free with Olle Klack in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Järnforsen IFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malungsfors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
