Rutger Unesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Kilstedt in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Myresjö's Ola Aleberg got a free kick in the 10th minute. Kim Bjurström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Kleen having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Myresjö's goalkeeper Martin Kleen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Bjurström. Martin Kleen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes, Guldsmedshyttan FK's Göran Målare shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martin Kleen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guldsmedshyttan FK reached it. Kim Bjurström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Elias Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Myresjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Bock to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesper Kruse during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The tension between the Myresjö and the Guldsmedshyttan FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 73 minutes into the game, Pär Strömberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Myresjö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guldsmedshyttan FK the free kick. 73 minutes into the game, one of Myresjö:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mats Sandberg's late challenge caught a Guldsmedshyttan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 93rd minute of the match, Alfred Kolberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rutger Unesson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Kim Bjurström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ola Aleberg was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 98th minute, Ola Aleberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Myresjö had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
