Jörn Beckman took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dick Vallander. Dick Vallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ian Askstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Ola Forsberg struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dick Vallander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tun IFK. Dick Vallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Beckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Jörn Beckman made the kick off in the second half. Adrian Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, Tun IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Rudqvist came free, but Adrian Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nils Rudqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Askstedt in the 60th minute of the match. If Jens-Ola Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Nils Rudqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Stenström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Askstedt in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Stenström saved Tun IFK from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Tun IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Rudqvist came free, but Adrian Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isac Morat lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tun IFK! Dick Vallander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ola Forsberg in the 86th minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Nils Rudqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tun IFK's Adrian Stenström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nils Rudqvist's late challenge caught a Tun IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils Rudqvist helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tun IFK booed when Mörlunda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Rudqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tun IFK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mörlunda.
