After 17 minutes, Sven Modig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hjo and the Alnarp players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hjo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sven Modig hit a great ball. When Filip Sandström came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Alnarp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Sandström couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute Karl Grep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Grep in the 23rd minute of play. Emanuel Hedström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Hjeltman went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 40 minutes of play Hjo's Sven Modig was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 41st match minute, Hjo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Modig to maneuver through the defense. If Greger Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Hjeltman made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Henry Sundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Alnarp's Henry Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Nordin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute Henry Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute Joseph Hjeltman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Sandström's late challenge caught a Hjo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Sandström helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Henry Sundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Nordin was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Karl Grep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Hjeltman in the 73rd minute of the match. If Karl Grep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hjo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
