Vilhelm Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skivarp BK. When Bertil Apelqvist fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älvängen's protests and gave Bertil Apelqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Älvängen getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bertil Apelqvist hit a great ball. Älvängen's Vilhelm Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Östman in the 5th minute of play. Per-Olof Nilsson struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Vilhelm Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skivarp BK. Herbert Nordgren stood somewhat misplaced when Bo Martinsson came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. Älvängen's Vilhelm Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Nilsson in the 19th minute of play. If Ivar Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Martinsson got free with Herbert Nordgren in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bror Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Herbert Nordgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bo Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Ivar Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Bo Martinsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Nordgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivar Östman to strike the kick off in the second half. Erling Vallman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilhelm Bergström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Ivar Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivar Östman in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilhelm Bergström saved Älvängen from getting behind. Kenneth Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Martinsson in the 62nd minute of play forced Skivarp BK's goalkeeper Herbert Nordgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivar Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bo Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Älvängen's zone, Ivar Östman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Bergström came out of the goal and Ivar Östman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Älvängen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kenneth Fransson hit a great ball. Skivarp BK's Patrik Lönn shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vilhelm Bergström but with some difficulty. Herbert Nordgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Nordgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Martinsson in the 86th minute of the match. Älvängen's Vilhelm Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Östman in the 87th minute of play. Herbert Nordgren came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Älvängen's Bo Martinsson. But to his dismay, Bo Martinsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Bo Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Nordgren having to interfere. Skivarp BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
