The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Linghem's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Nordin came free, but Birger Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greger Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Vallgren having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Linghem's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Stigsson came free, but Birger Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birger Nyman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnny Sikström in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inge Vallgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Pajala's Ulf Stigsson in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linghem's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Olsson during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pajala fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! 61 minutes into the match, Pajala's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Petersson came free, but Inge Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inge Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Sikström in the 64th minute of the match. Ulf Stigsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Nyman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Inge Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Petersson in the 76th minute of the match. Inge Vallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Sikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Greger Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Inge Vallgren. Pajala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Ulf Stigsson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pajala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Stigsson couldn't finish the play. Birger Nyman made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Herbert Nordin sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Linghem's goalkeeper Birger Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Pajala's Herbert Nordin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birger Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Linghem getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Sixten Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Pajala's Herbert Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pajala walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
