The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Arman Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Gullesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Wall in the 6th minute of the match. Hugo Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Vilgot Gullesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Gullesson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Skottorp's Aleksander Eriksson got a free kick in the 10th minute. Hugo Apelquist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Vilgot Gullesson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Askstedt in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Högström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sakarias Helström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakarias Helström scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Högström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, Sakarias Helström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skottorp and the Skellefteå players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Hugo Apelquist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arman Wall made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Arman Wall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skellefteå's supporters rose to their feet, but Arman Wall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakarias Helström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but August Högström made a huge save. August Högström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sakarias Helström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 68 minute of play. Torbjörn Eliasson was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Skottorp booed when Skellefteå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakarias Helström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of August Högström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sakarias Helström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, August Högström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Sakarias Helström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skottorp walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
