In the 9th match minute, Svenstavik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Bammerman to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Jörlanda's Ian Jonasson tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sigvard Mårtensson scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Per-Olof Granqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Valter Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Valdemar Hellström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jörlanda's Valdemar Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Magnusson in the 26th minute of play. Valdemar Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Jörlanda booed when Svenstavik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Håning didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match, Sigvard Mårtensson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valdemar Hellström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Svenstavik booed when Jörlanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Smefeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Torbjörn Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svenstavik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Magnusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Svenstavik supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Svenstavik would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
