Bengt Ahlbom started the match with the kick off. Havstenssund's Ove Valrot got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Bengt Ahlbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brian Vester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 15 minutes on the clock, Niclas Henriksson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Lysvik:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Havstenssund a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Torbjörn Boman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lysvik's Brian Vester. 0-2. Brian Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Ahlbom in the 21st minute of play. Anton Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Simon Bolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes, Sven-Edvin Hedlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Havstenssund and the Lysvik players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Ahlbom in the 42nd minute of play forced Lysvik's goalkeeper Brian Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Valrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Bengt Ahlbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erland Jernberg during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 49th minute, Bengt Ahlbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 56th minute, Havstenssund's Ove Valrot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brian Vester. Brian Vester yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Helge Dalkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Fredriksson in the 66th minute of play. Anton Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Havstenssund booed when Lysvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Malmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Anton Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lysvik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Havstenssund's Stig Anselius got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute, Anton Fredriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Valrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ove Valrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt Ahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Brian Vester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lysvik getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Marko Nyqvist hit a great ball. If Bengt Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
