Edgar Kjellbom charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Kjellbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgar Kjellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Rydaholm RK's Emil Pihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Ahlbom in the 8th minute of play. Ove Valrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Pihlberg having to interfere. Michael Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Dalkvist having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Havstenssund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Kennet Rosendal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Helge Dalkvist. The goal made the score 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Havstenssund's goalkeeper Helge Dalkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Olofsson. Michael Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Dalkvist having to interfere. Michael Olofsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Helge Dalkvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kennet Rosendal was the one to do the kick off. Helge Dalkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Rosendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Dahlgren during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Stefan Dahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Havstenssund's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Torbjörn Boman in the 58th minute. A nice corner shot did that Torbjörn Boman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Pihlberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kennet Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Dalkvist having to interfere. Ove Valrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Emil Pihlberg made a huge save. If Kennet Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute Michael Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helge Dalkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Paul Nordlander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Havstenssund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rydaholm RK the free kick. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Havstenssund's goalkeeper Helge Dalkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Paul Nordlander was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. When Stig Anselius fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Havstenssund's protests and gave Stig Anselius a yellow card for diving instead. Stig Anselius kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kenneth Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Dalkvist having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match Anthon Ersman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helge Dalkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
