Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan Harman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Håknäs's Johan Överman got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Högman during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Allan Högman kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Håknäs's Svante Ryberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Einar Jonsson but with some difficulty. The supporters of Fjärdhundra booed when Håknäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Runberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Lundström having to interfere. Einar Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Söderkvist in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Håknäs's goalkeeper Rune Lundström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Greger Hedvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Harman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rune Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Söderkvist to make the kick off. Einar Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Överman in the 54th minute of play. Rune Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Harman in the 57th minute of the match. Greger Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Lundström having to interfere. Johan Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Einar Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Håknäs's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Harman came free, but Rune Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fjärdhundra's zone, Johan Överman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Jonsson came out of the goal and Johan Överman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pär Siöman fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fjärdhundra's protests and gave Pär Siöman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fjärdhundra getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pär Siöman hit a great ball. Kurt Söderkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Einar Jonsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jan Harman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fjärdhundra's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Harman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Lundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st match minute, Håknäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Ryberg to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Sune Söderkvist from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Rune Lundström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 83rd minute, Jens-Ola Aspengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greger Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Lundström having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Håknäs's Magnus Runberg got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Håknäs's goalkeeper Rune Lundström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan Harman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Lundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play.
