With a little luck, Hällevadsholm's Åke Carlberg got control of the ball when Anton Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Börge Wallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Ulf Falkrantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sten Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Daniel Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uddevalla RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hällevadsholm the free kick. After a rather tough play, Uddevalla RK's Daniel Andreasson got a free kick in the 12th minute. Sten Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Hällevadsholm's Aleksander Sandberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börge Wallgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Molin in the 24th minute of play forced Hällevadsholm's goalkeeper Åke Carlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Carlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Fredriksson in the 32nd minute. Jesper Molin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Carlberg having to interfere. Anton Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Åke Carlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesper Molin was the one to do the kick off. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uddevalla RK booed when Hällevadsholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Edström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Falkrantz didn't quite understand what happened when in the 94 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hällevadsholm had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
