After having played for 10 minutes, Folke Gadd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinberg BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Gadd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Classon hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Folke Gadd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustav Bäckman hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Edmund Örn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Hedberg having to make a save. Folke Gadd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute, Olov Mikaelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vinberg BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 39 played minutes, Slagnäs's Torbjörn Eriksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mathias Stenberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Slagnäs reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Mikaelsson got free with Alfred Hedberg in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Slagnäs getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Per-Erik Kjellman hit a great ball. Bengt Caspersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mathias Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After 55 played minutes Slagnäs got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Kjellman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Mikaelsson in the 56th minute of play forced Slagnäs's goalkeeper Alfred Hedberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Holmberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias Stenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Classon during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Stenberg having to interfere. Jonas Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Mathias Stenberg made a huge save. Gustav Bäckman hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Vinberg BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Slagnäs for a fine match.
