With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars-Erik Åkerman in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Berggren saved Vansbro BK from getting behind. The supporters of Garphyttan FK booed when Vansbro BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andréas Alebom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes, Garphyttan FK's Kristoffer Vollander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anton Berggren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garphyttan FK reached it. In the 24th minute Alf Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alf Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ivar Sigfridsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lars-Erik Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joakim Nordin was the one to do the kick off.
