Jan-Olof Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Rolfsson having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Bertil Svensson made a precise shot to the right of Erik Öman. Nävekvarn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Nävekvarn's zone, Alexander Almkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Öman came out of the goal and Alexander Almkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertil Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Öman having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Billy Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Billy Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alexander Almkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Nävekvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Svensson came free, but Erik Öman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nävekvarn's zone, Alexander Almkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Öman came out of the goal and Alexander Almkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Runhällen IK's Kent Billing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Öman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Olof Berggren to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Runhällen IK's Erik Öman threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Almkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Bertil Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Nävekvarn's Jan-Olof Berggren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Rolfsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Almkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Erik Öman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Rolfsson having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Jan-Olof Berggren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Berggren in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute Billy Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
