After 10 played minutes Runhällen IK got a freekick which was hit by Marc Bergendahl. George Rolfsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Vallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Bertil Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Bagge kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Runhällen IK's Bertil Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Linderöd's Jarl Håkansson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alexander Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Klintæus having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Linderöd's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Svensson came free, but Sebastian Klintæus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Vallgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexander Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Klintæus having to interfere. Runhällen IK's George Rolfsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Frisk in the 60th minute of play. Linderöd's Sebastian Klintæus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Linderöd from getting a goal against them. If Bertil Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Almkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Klintæus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Linderöd defense, Bertil Svensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Klintæus. The Linderöd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Klintæus should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Runhällen IK's Kent Billing got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of Runhällen IK booed when Linderöd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarl Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Rolfsson having to interfere. Fredrik Vallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Runhällen IK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
