He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lingbo BF reached it. Gilbert Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennart Lindgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilbert Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Felin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åmål RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lingbo BF the free kick. A collision led to Åmål RK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Karl-Michael Felin hit a great ball. Einar Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Skog in the 20th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Gilbert Söderberg in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gilbert Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicklas Skog made a kick off. Einar Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Skog in the 55th minute of the match. When Sebastian Rosendal fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lingbo BF's protests and gave Sebastian Rosendal a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastian Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Olle Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Einar Österlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Gilbert Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nicklas Skog came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Åmål RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicklas Skog couldn't finish the play. After having played for 94 minutes, Gilbert Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lingbo BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Söderberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Åmål RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
