Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Kellbom kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Emanuel Kellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agne Göransson made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Kenny Hake sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Myresjö IF's Johannes Berggren got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Emanuel Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Rune Hjelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Elliott Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emanuel Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Thomas Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Kenny Hake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljungby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenny Hake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Göransson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Hjelm in the 39th minute of play forced Ljungby's goalkeeper Elliott Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliott Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Hjelm in the 41st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Rune Hjelm was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ljungby booed when Myresjö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Myresjö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Hake came free, but Agne Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Emil Svanström hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ljungby were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Myresjö IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isac Eklund took the corner. Ljungby's Isac Eklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agne Göransson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ingemar Beneth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Agne Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny Hake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Göransson having to interfere. The supporters of Ljungby booed when Myresjö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Myresjö IF's Niklas Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Ljungby's goalkeeper Elliott Åkesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niklas Ekström. 80 minutes into the match, Myresjö IF's Bengt-Rune Hjelm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elliott Åkesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Ekström got free with Elliott Åkesson in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bo Giöck charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Giöck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Bo Giöck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Kellbom took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agne Göransson. Agne Göransson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ljungby were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Myresjö IF for a fine match.
