In the 7th minute, André Karlstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes Bara BF got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Rosendal. In the 10th minute Vilhelm Ahlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Holmstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Per Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oskarström IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Pettersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Holmstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th match minute, Bara BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Lövgren to maneuver through the defense. Kjell Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Kent Carlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Arhenius in the 25th minute of play. Bara BF's Thomas Allbom got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Per Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Holmstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Carlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Arhenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Oskarström IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Karlstedt to maneuver through the defense.

Oscar Arhenius kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Oskarström IFK's Vilhelm Ahlén got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskarström IFK's Rudolf Palmquist suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 62 minutes into the game, Kjell Rosendal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bara BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oskarström IFK the free kick. When Thomas Allbom came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Bara BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Allbom couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bara BF's Kjell Rosendal got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Per Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bara BF's zone, Arvid Ennegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Holmstedt came out of the goal and Arvid Ennegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Holmstedt made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Vilhelm Ahlén sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Pettersson got free with Eric Holmstedt in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Pettersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Eric Holmstedt made a huge save. Thomas Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Carlberg having to interfere. The Oskarström IFK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
