Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute of the match Hjalmar Stenqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars-Erik Soned showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jörn Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Carlberg having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Per Pettersson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lars-Erik Soned. Vilhelm Ahlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lars-Erik Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Per Pettersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lars-Erik Soned was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rudolf Palmquist kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Jörn Lundqvist notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Oskarström IFK's Kent Carlberg. Kent Carlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 played minutes Höljes got a freekick which was hit by Helge Svanström. With a little luck, Höljes's Lars-Erik Soned got control of the ball when Per Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lars-Erik Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörn Lundqvist was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörn Lundqvist in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Carlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roland Lindsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilhelm Ahlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lars-Erik Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars-Erik Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Ahlén in the 71st minute of play. Lars-Erik Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Jörn Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Oskarström IFK got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Palmquist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Lundqvist in the 88th minute of play forced Oskarström IFK's goalkeeper Kent Carlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Höljes's Lars-Erik Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Pettersson in the 90th minute of play. 3-2 became the score in the 93rd minute when Vilhelm Ahlén elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oskarström IFK had won after a very even match.
