Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Åkesson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alf Andersson. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Åkesson in the 10th minute of play forced Blentarp FF's goalkeeper Alf Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Åkesson in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alf Andersson saved Blentarp FF from getting behind. Mikael Hellström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erik Engman. Vartofta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Frank Åkesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blentarp FF's Alf Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niclas Ahlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Engman having to interfere. Alf Andersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Algot Blom went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malte Tillman in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Engman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kjell-Arne Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Erik Engman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sture Alén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Engman having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kjell-Arne Palm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Engman was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell-Arne Palm to strike the kick off in the second half. When Algot Blom came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Vartofta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Algot Blom couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malte Tillman during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Blentarp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Tillman to maneuver through the defense. Frank Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Örtlund's late challenge caught a Blentarp FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Örtlund helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Vartofta got a freekick which was hit by George Örtlund. Alf Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Niclas Ahlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Blentarp FF's Niclas Ahlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Engman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kjell-Arne Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Erik Engman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algot Blom in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alf Andersson saved Blentarp FF from getting behind. Vartofta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Blentarp FF for a fine match.
