In the 8th match minute, Farsta BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Beckström to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Freddie Jonasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farsta BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Håknäs the free kick. Freddie Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Olov Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håknäs's Bengt-Rune Falkrans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Håknäs from getting a goal against them. Karl-Magnus Danielsson's late challenge caught a Håknäs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Danielsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Håknäs booed when Farsta BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Rydberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Arvidsson having to interfere. Olov Rydberg struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Karl-Ove Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Håknäs. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

During the 57th minute of the match Karl-Magnus Danielsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karl-Magnus Danielsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Karl-Magnus Danielsson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Tor Markusson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Olov Rydberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Ove Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Rydberg in the 64th minute of the match. Roger Vase kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fredric Liljeström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Ove Arvidsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Roger Vase hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Håknäs were awarded a corner. Tor Markusson went to the cornerflag to take it. When Tony Waller fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Håknäs's protests and gave Tony Waller a yellow card for diving instead. Tony Waller hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Fredric Liljeström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Fredric Liljeström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Roger Vase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bengt-Rune Falkrans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Nils Zachrisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farsta BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Zachrisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
