Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Äppelbo's Otto Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Fridlund in the 7th minute of play. Otto Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Fridlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Greger Bure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. George Alebeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Äppelbo's Tommy Bergman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Alebeck. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. George Alebeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Greger Bure in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greger Bure in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Alebeck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tommy Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egil Fridlund in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otto Ek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Äppelbo! Söderfors were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Äppelbo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Svanér took the corner. Olov Björkqvist tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Otto Ek. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
In the 55th minute Egil Fridlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Äppelbo's goalkeeper Otto Ek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Äppelbo's goalkeeper Otto Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charlie Söderström. With his leg Otto Ek managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Söderfors's Charlie Söderström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. George Alebeck came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Äppelbo's Greger Bure. But to his dismay, Greger Bure quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
