The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jonas Palmquist kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Claes Lund was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dan Snell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Carl Hellkvist took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Snell. Dan Snell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Carlsson in the 23rd minute of the match. If Ulf Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Adelsköld hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jonathan Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fagersanna BF's zone, Ulf Strömberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Berg came out of the goal and Ulf Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After taking down the ball on Fagersanna BF's corner Emanuel Adelsköld fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dan Snell quite easily take care of the ball. Carl Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Snell having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kennet Sjögren to make the kick off. Carl Hellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven Carlsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Dan Snell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Carlsson got free with Dan Snell in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven Carlsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 98th playminute. Fagersanna BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
