Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Horn FK's Mikael Engström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Verner Vinström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklas Vennerkvist's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Tage Rolfsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skellefteå RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horn FK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Skellefteå RK's Tage Rolfsson got a free kick in the 8th minute. Niklas Vennerkvist got in the 18th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Verner Vinström handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Magnus Bollström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Bollström in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcus Brodin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Verner Vinström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Lundhberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Verner Vinström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verner Vinström came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Skellefteå RK's Torgny Magnusson. But to his dismay, Torgny Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mikael Engström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Horn FK's Magnus Bollström got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torgny Magnusson to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Horn FK's Marcus Vennerdal got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th match minute, Skellefteå RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Wassenius to maneuver through the defense. Skellefteå RK's Marcus Brodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Engström in the 56th minute of play. Magnus Bollström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marcus Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Skellefteå RK's Joseph Söderman got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Mikael Engström notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Skellefteå RK's Marcus Brodin. Marcus Brodin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Verner Vinström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Ralf Örtendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torgny Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Verner Vinström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Bollström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Brodin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseph Söderman during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Niklas Vennerkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skellefteå RK's Torgny Magnusson got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Torgny Magnusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horn FK's Verner Vinström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Torgny Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Horn FK's Patrick Alegren got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A hard shot by Claes Löfgren from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Verner Vinström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Horn FK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Patrick Alegren hit a great ball. Skellefteå RK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claes Löfgren in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Horn FK had won after a very even match.
