Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niklas Lööf started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Skellefteå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Tunström came free, but Marcus Brodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Stabbe made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Niklas Vennerkvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Skellefteå RK's Niklas Vennerkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilbert Stabbe. Gilbert Stabbe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Niklas Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torgny Magnusson struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gilbert Stabbe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skellefteå RK. Torgny Magnusson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 22nd minute Birger Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Lundhberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of Skellefteå RK booed when Åmotsbruk IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Stabbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niklas Vennerkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Stabbe having to make a save. Carl Lundhberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gilbert Stabbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torgny Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Åmotsbruk IK got a freekick which was hit by Albert Stenqvist. Niklas Vennerkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Stabbe having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Torgny Magnusson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skellefteå RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Albert Stenqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åmotsbruk IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Stenqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Brodin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Torgny Magnusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Stabbe was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Niklas Vennerkvist made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Stabbe. Åmotsbruk IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 73rd minute, Niklas Lööf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcus Brodin. The goal made the score 3-1. Gilbert Stabbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Magnusson in the 78th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Åmotsbruk IK got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Kiempe. When Skellefteå RK's Niklas Vennerkvist in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åmotsbruk IK's goalie prevented a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Skellefteå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Lööf came free, but Marcus Brodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Skellefteå RK's zone, Birger Tunström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Brodin came out of the goal and Birger Tunström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niklas Lööf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Tunström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Brodin having to make a save. In the 95thth minute of the game Torgny Magnusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åmotsbruk IK's Gilbert Stabbe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Åmotsbruk IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
