After 18 played minutes Gagnef IFK got a freekick which was hit by Bo Tham. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gagnef IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eddie Wassenius was slow to take the kick. During this time Skärblacka's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Skärblacka's corner Eddie Wassenius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonatan Lindman quite easily take care of the ball. Freddie Kuse charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddie Kuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Skärblacka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Kuse to maneuver through the defense. Albin Henriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulf Andreasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonatan Lindman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alex Mattsson fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gagnef IFK's protests and gave Alex Mattsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Alex Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Nils Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Lindman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skärblacka's goalkeeper Rikard Caspersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ulf Andreasson made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Oskar Billing hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Skärblacka's Ulf Andreasson in 59 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jonatan Lindman guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Albin Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Skärblacka got a freekick which was hit by Egil Vallgren. Niclas Bållström's late challenge caught a Skärblacka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niclas Bållström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skärblacka booed when Gagnef IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Bållström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Godholm hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Freddie Kuse hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Niclas Bållström kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Gagnef IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Andreasson came free, but Jonatan Lindman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gagnef IFK's Albin Henriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddie Kuse hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Egil Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
