In the 9th minute Jörgen Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Svanér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greger Biörnberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albin Örn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Floda FF's goalkeeper Greger Biörnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilhelm Alebom. Blomstermåla RK's Torsten Svanér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Engström in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Blomstermåla RK's zone, Jörgen Åkesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Svanér came out of the goal and Jörgen Åkesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Engström in the 31st minute of play forced Blomstermåla RK's goalkeeper Torsten Svanér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Apelkvist was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Göran Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Erik Engström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Torsten Svanér was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Albin Örn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Erik Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Svanér having to interfere. Torsten Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilhelm Alebom to strike the kick off in the second half. Greger Biörnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilhelm Alebom's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Erik Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Jens Hultstrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Floda FF's Bengt-Åke Pihlwall couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Blomstermåla RK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Engström got free with Torsten Svanér in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute of the match, Erik Engström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Torsten Svanér was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 74th minute, Floda FF's Jörgen Åkesson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Torsten Svanér.
