An unexpectedly hard shot by Viggo Blomqvist in the 3rd minute of play forced Getinge RK's goalkeeper Erling Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Björk struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Sven-Erik Gudmundsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Getinge RK. Krister Rönn lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 7th minute, one of Grästorp FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grästorp FF. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Getinge RK's Mattias Andersson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sven-Erik Gudmundsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Lindqvist in the 15th minute of play forced Getinge RK's goalkeeper Erling Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Bodin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Getinge RK's Mattias Andersson tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Charles Gernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Dag Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Getinge RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Björk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Charles Gernberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Erik Gudmundsson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Getinge RK's Charles Gernberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Erik Gudmundsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Charles Gernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 42nd match minute, Grästorp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Östensson to maneuver through the defense. If Dag Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Lindqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dag Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Gudmundsson having to interfere. A collision led to Grästorp FF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Thomas Blomberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Grästorp FF's Viggo Blomqvist got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Björk in the 59th minute of play forced Grästorp FF's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Gudmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Grästorp FF's Emanuel Lindqvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Getinge RK's goalkeeper Erling Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Lindqvist. Grästorp FF's Sven-Erik Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Gernberg in the 69th minute of play. If Emanuel Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erling Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Martin Mellbad sent off a good shot on target. Torgny Enegren hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Torgny Enegren kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Grästorp FF's Kurt Bodin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Emanuel Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Erik Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Björk in the 85th minute of play. Martin Mellbad hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Anders Ambjörnsson's late challenge caught a Grästorp FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Ambjörnsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Grästorp FF booed when Getinge RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Getinge RK's goalkeeper Erling Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Lindqvist. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Getinge RK had won after a very even match.
