Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Göran Bergsten started the match with the kick off. Fred Siggman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Patrik Björk made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Siggman got free with Patrik Björk in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edvin Engström hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Asklöv in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Söder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lajksjöberg IF's goalkeeper Eddie Söder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Grimsås:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lajksjöberg IF:s goal. Magnus Falkrantz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 28 played minutes, Lajksjöberg IF's Mathias Östlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrik Björk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lajksjöberg IF reached it. Eddie Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Bergsten in the 29th minute of the match. In the 36th minute John Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grimsås's Eskil Billström got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 50th minute Göran Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when John Tingberg made the kick off in the second half. Elliott Holmstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Peter Asklöv got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 55th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Göran Bergsten charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göran Bergsten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grimsås getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Göran Bergsten hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, John Tingberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lajksjöberg IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Bergsten in the 69th minute of play forced Lajksjöberg IF's goalkeeper Eddie Söder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Olof Wallengren hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Lajksjöberg IF's Eddie Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Bergsten in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Vilgot Skark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Lajksjöberg IF's goalkeeper Eddie Söder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Asklöv. Lajksjöberg IF's Eddie Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Bergsten in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Lajksjöberg IF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Elliott Holmstedt hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Peter Asklöv cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eddie Söder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Peter Asklöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Bergsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lajksjöberg IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Grimsås had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
