The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mårten Nyman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roy Billing's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Dag Winström hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Stig Liljeström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Nyman having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Roy Billing in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Arman Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Fernkvist having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Bohus IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tobias Berglund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mårten Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Liljeström, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Tobias Berglund struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Axel Fernkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horn. If Tobias Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Horn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bohus IF were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arman Jakobsson made a kick off. Roy Billing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Nyman having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bohus IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
